Terry Segal earned her Ph.D. in Energy Medicine from Greenwich University, Australia, while attending a sister University in the United States. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology from California State University at Northridge, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre from the University of Miami, in Florida.
A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in both Georgia and California, Dr. Segal maintains a private practice in Georgia. Through her experience as a therapist for the last quarter of a century, she believes that healing and growth occur as blocks are removed, and balance is restored on the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional planes. She specializes in Hypnotherapy, Energy Anatomy and the arts, as tools for assessment and healing. Humor and imagination play a vital role in her work.
Dr. Segal’s about-to-be released book titled: The Enchanted Journey: Finding the Key That Unlocks You will be available for purchase by February 1, 2011. The author’s poetry and prose have been published in an anthology titled: North Point of View: Tales of Alpharetta and Beyond. Her work was also selected for inclusion in two volumes of O, Georgia! A Collection of Georgia’s Newest and Most Promising Writers. She is a long-time member of the Atlanta Writers Club.
Dr. Segal is the creator and facilitator of the experiential workshop entitled: The Enchanted Journey: Finding the Key That Unlocks You. She has been a contributing editor for various parenting, health and beauty publications. Additionally, she is a mixed-media artist.
